ANAPEC's missions

The missions of ANAPEC are defined by law n°51-99 creating ANAPEC in article three.
 
ANAPEC’s mission is to contribute to the organisation and implementation of programmes to promote skilled employment decided by the public authorities. To this end, it is responsible for :
 
  • Prospecting, collecting job offers from employers and matching job supply and demand.
  • Receiving, informing and guiding jobseekers.
  • Informing and guiding young entrepreneurs in the realisation of their economic projects.
  • Assist and advise employers in defining their skills requirements.
  • Set up vocational adaptation and training programmes – integration into active work life in conjunction with employers and training establishments.
  • Concluding agreements with professional associations for the development of self-employment and the encouragement of young initiative.
  • Carrying out any tasks related to its attributions that may be assigned to it by the State, local authorities or public establishments within the framework of agreements.
  • Providing the tutelary authority, on a periodic basis, with information on the functioning of the employment and skills market.
  • Developing and updating directories describing jobs and professions.
  • Processing job offers from abroad and prospecting all opportunities for the placement abroad of nationals seeking to emigrate for work.

Companies are required to provide all the information necessary for the Agency to carry out its missions.
 
ANAPEC’s main role is to promote and stimulate the Moroccan employment market through three main mechanisms:
 
  • Intermediation between job seekers and employers,
  • Promoting entrepreneurship by supporting young entrepreneurs,
  • Improving the employability of jobseekers, particularly through training.
